The smarty-pants makers of this pre-fab cult hybrid of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD by way of PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE seem to have been inspired by Nick Zedd's punk horror parody GEEK MAGGOT BINGO (1983). But their film is smugger and even less watchable. 1972: A child named McGuffin (get the Hitchcock reference?) is trampled during Mardi Gras. 23 years later: McGuffin (Matt James) has grown up to look like John Carradine in a carnival magician's get-up, and conducts a ritual that uses the power of the goddess Inanna, Mistress of the Morning Sun (Lorelei Fuller), to raise Zombie (Karl DeMolay).
