Zig-Zag: Review

Life on the sleazy side in Paris' disreputable Pigalle sector is portrayed in this unusual production. Deneuve and Lafont live a free and easy life as song-and-dance partners in a nightclub, and hookers on the side, until Lafont gets caught up in a kidnaping which finally ends in her death. Deneuve and Lafont are wonderful, both to look at and to listen to, but the bad story and filming make this one decidedly hard to take. leave a comment
