A frighteningly bad picture in which Stern plays a no-good promoter trying to take advantage of a backwoods singing preacher and his two brothers. His antics deceive Castillo long enough to get her aid in finding backing. She finally sees through the promoter, leaving him alone with the
beautiful but dumb Van Doren. This was the untalented Van Doren's final try at film acting. Songs include "Him Who Loves Ain't Got Time to Hate," "Time Will Tell," "Restin' Time," "Look Before You Leap," and "Don't Look in Other Pastures," all sung by the Bantams.
