You'Re Never Too Young

This was one of the less cohesive Lewis and Martin vehicles. Lewis plays a barber's apprentice who unwittingly comes into the possession of stolen diamonds. From here it's pure hokum as Jerry, attempting to avoid the grasp of thief Burr, dresses up like an 11-year-old in a sailor suit and takes refuge in the girls' school where Martin is a teacher. Plenty of slapstick antics to delight the Lewis fans. This is a remake of THE MAJOR AND THE MINOR (1942).
