Inspired drama starring Scott as a youthful-looking schoolteacher who accepts a job teaching in a desert community. A week before school starts she meets local lad Harland, who falls in love with her. She likes the boy and they spend the week together. When school begins both are shocked
to learn that he is one of her students. Harland refuses to break off the relationship, but Scott gets him to return to his old girl friend Hoffman. Nice production and good performances help the somewhat silly material.
