A light, frothy comedy with Reid and Peters as a sibling pair of midwestern college students. Their mother, Astor, is a writer and lecturer (ironically, something Astor herself would later become). Astor is newly married to Marshall, a fellow professor, and the two kids do their best to split up the marriage.
