When Sharpe, a newly deputized state trooper, is killed his first day on the job, his kid brother Darro--who also wants to be a trooper--swears revenge. Sister Henry's fiance, Richmond, joins Darro in the search for the gangsters responsible. The pair finally lure the gang to a boarding house with the promise of gold, but it turns out Austin, a crippled boarder, is really head of the outfit.
