This slick, vibrant thriller was an early arrival in the current resurgence in British crime flicks, but it failed to pick up a U.S. distributor and has been languishing on video ever since. An American DEA agent (Harvey Keitel) is recruited to assist Scotland Yard when an East End gangster is assassinated and a nasty brand of cheap heroin suddenly floods the London drug market.
