Day plays an American film star who marries steamer captain Hamilton for the purpose of obtaining British citizenship, after which she plans to leave him. Hamilton kidnaps her after the ceremony and sails away with her on his steamer, attempting to tame her at sea. In port, she slips away from him and finds a big contract awaiting her, but Hamilton sweeps her away again and true love at last blooms. Frivolous but entertaining. leave a comment
