A decent B gangster picture in which Hill plays a doctor on the run from the mob because he identified two hoods involved in a murder. He takes to the back woods, getting a job as a sales clerk and falling in love with Edwards, daughter of a former Army colonel now confined to a
wheelchair. It is this old colonel who saves Hill's life, when the gangsters sniff him out, by sharpshooting his way through the crooks. Though obviously done on a limited budget, this is a thorough job whose faults are easily overlooked.
