Yes, My Darling Daughter

A skillfully scripted comedy about a young woman, Lane, who is determined to spend a weekend with boy friend Lynn before he leaves for a new job in Europe. Lane's mother, Bainter, an outspoken feminist (who, unknown to her daughter, had her own "free-love" adventure with poet Young years before), doesn't approve of the proposed excursion. She gives in, however, when Lane confronts her with her failure to live up to her own pronouncements. The lovebirds spend an uneventful weekend, but their return is greeted with uproar.
