Tempest is an elderly spinster who leaves $20,000 to Newton, her communist nephew. He's always been opposed to her capitalistic ways, but now that he has her money, things change. In keeping with his ideology, he plans on evenly distributing the money to the nation's unemployed, but when he realizes they'll get only a penny apiece, he questions his beliefs.
