Fowley, an insurance salesman, heads west and falls in love with a sheriff's daughter. The sheriff is soon slain by an unknown killer and Fowley, acting as nobly as he can, sets out to find the culprit. After a great deal of difficulty, he points the finger of guilt at the killer and the
man behind the scheme, the bank president. Includes the immortal tune "Caught Like a Rat in a Trap" (J. Russell Robinson, Alexander Laszlo).
