Down To Their Last Yacht

A Depression-struck upper-class family charters its yacht to make money. The family ends up shipwrecked on the island of Malakamokalu in this inane musical. Mobster-like natives, a queen who feeds people to sharks for fun, and amateur hula hula girls bring this bad musical close to a campy level but not close enough. Producer Brock fared better with FLYING DOWN TO RIO and MELODY CRUISE.
