X Marks The Spot: Review
Broadway newspaper columnist Ford is embroiled in a murder case when a showgirl, who had been suing his paper for libel, is found murdered shortly after Ford interviewed her in her apartment. Of course, Ford is accused, but he quickly discovers the real killer to be a man he had previously met. All comes to a head in the courtroom and in a final climactic scene in which Ford is forced to engage in a gun battle after he's locked in a room with the killer. The drama tries hard...
