Elliott's rise to power from pioneer to Wyoming's top cattle rancher is the central plot of this expertly photographed oater. When the Homestead Act is introduced, the villainous Dekker rallies the incoming farmers against Elliott. Elliott's patience is pushed to the limit when Dekker, after rustling all of the rancher's herd, tries to take hotel owner Grey. The rancher also loses his daughter, Ralston, to Dekker, but when the villain's wicked ways are revealed, she returns to her father's side. Appearing as the young Ralston is Louise Kane, the daughter of producer-director Joseph Kane. leave a comment
