One of Hitchcock's bleakest films. Henry Fonda stars in this Kafka-esque tale of an innocent man wrongfully accused of robbing a bank. Based on a true story, the film also stars Vera Miles as Fonda's tormented wife. Keep your eyes peeled for Tuesday Weld, One Day at a Time's Bonnie Franklin and Harry Dean Stanton in minor roles.
