Bracken is a nobody who is accidentally pushed into singing a tune with Lynn's all-girl orchestra at a small-town benefit show. He opens his mouth and out comes the familiar crooning sounds of Bing Crosby. The audience goes wild and publicity soars. Lynn brings the pseudo-Crosby to New
York with her and gets investors to put forward some cash. She mistakenly sells them shares totalling 125 percent of the profits. Her near-disastrous financial management is all cleared up by the finale. An agreeable little spoof on superstardom and the bobby-soxer crowd. The cast does a fine job
of entertaining, though Lake is unfortunately wasted in a minor role as a booking agent....
