This one is played for slapstick, but Colbert and Stewart make it a bright and often hilarious screwball comedy under Van Dyke's smooth direction. Truex is an irresponsible millionaire, and Stewart is a neophyte private eye hired to keep an eye on him. Tycoon Truex gets involved in a murder, and the bumbling Stewart is also framed for the same crime.
