Lowe and McLaglen are two deep-sea divers on different boats. Blane inherits McLaglen's boat and moves in. To guarantee that this business venture will be successful, she hires another diver, namely McLaglen's rival Lowe. The two constantly argue and finally duke it out while riding an amusement park roller coaster. McLaglen gets bumped from the car and falls in the ocean. He hides and is assumed to be dead; Lowe is arrested for murder. When a ship carrying a valuable load of gold sinks, McLaglen and another diver agree to split the booty. But the new man is greedy and engages McLaglen in an underwater battle. Lowe, mysteriously released from jail, comes to the rescue, though both men end up in the hospital. Still arguing, the two are stunned when Blane comes in and announces that she is marrying the ship's captain. This is a tired, overlong programmer with not much to offer. Both story and performances are flat and uninspired. There are some good action sequences, such as the roller coaster fight, but these stick out only because the rest of the film is so poor. The underwater photography looks as fake as can be. Production credits are way below average, particularly the absolutely wretched editing. leave a comment
