Hume is a playful wife who surrounds herself with phony socialites and a philanderer who is out to get her, until her husband, Barraud, makes her pay for her foolish actions. Barraud hires Newcomb, an actress, to pose as a prostitute and come to a high-society party and make Hume jealous. Newcomb plays her part well and Barraud gets his wife back, a little wiser and soberer. leave a comment
