Plain but good wife Gombell teaches her philandering husband a thing or two by donning makeup and walking out on him, taking their daughter along, and going modern with a vengeance. The daughter begins an affair with a dull young doctor, attaches herself to some undesirables, and finally
returns to the doctor. Gombell tires of the charade and goes back to her husband, and in no time at all the family peace is restored. Shallow mixture badly told and acted.
