Confusingly portrayed effort in which Skelly plays a tough police sergeant with a mission to get the gangs cleaned up, and finds his brother is a criminal big shot. Nothing out of the ordinary, the most prominent feature being the appearance of Joseph Mankiewicz (future director of GUYS AND DOLLS and THE BAREFOOT CONTESSA, to name just a couple of his many successful ventures) in a bit role as a reporter. leave a comment
