Stanwyck stars as a horsewoman who is forced to take a stable job working for an uppity society matron, Tobin. It's not long before she meets the impoverished Raymond, a polo player who works at the stables and is a favorite of Tobin's. Because of the growing closeness between Stanwyck and Raymond, Tobin becomes quite jealous, as does Eldredge who wants Stanwyck for himself.
