What Every Woman Knows

1934, Movie, NR, 92 mins

starstarstarstar
A film version of the play Hayes had starred in eight years earlier has her as the ever-faithful and patient woman behind Aherne, a Scotsman recently elected to the British Parliament. The naive theme behind this picture is that it takes a woman to balance out a man's gross errors in judgment. But the message is put across in a light enough manner, with the right touches added by Hayes, to keep from offending anyone. Previously made twice as silents (1917 and 1921). leave a comment
