Inescort plays a judge who suddenly finds herself presiding over a case in which her long-lost daughter, Hudson, is on trial for murder. The judge quickly switches to the other side of the bench to act as the defending counsel. Well-paced direction and decent performances help overcome much of the story's predictability and heavy sentiment, including a romance between Inescort and Kruger as the opposing lawyer. leave a comment
