A dreadfully conceived family drama in which Benedict plays the black sheep in a family that also includes a lawyer and a priest, who both prove their binding love for their brother when he walks into a jam. As the lawyer, Vallin goes so far as to take on the mob when Benedict is gunned
down. The script is at fault here, relying on cliches and highly contrived situations to evoke unwarranted molodrama.
