A publishing takeover plot is initiated when newspaper executive Lowe, with three of his publishing peers, has Borland--owner of the prestigious paper the London Sun--committed to an insane asylum. Borland soon escapes his white-coated captors and the conspiratorial quartet begins to dwindle. Obituaries of the soon-to-be deceased appear in a rival paper prior to their demises as the four become three, then two, and finally Lowe alone, anxious about his continuing existence. ... read more leave a comment
