A ripping adaptation of Agatha Christie's hit stage play, brought to the screen with ingenuity and vitality by Billy Wilder. Charles Laughton stars as an ailing London barrister who can't resist taking one last case: A murder, involving a rich widow, a handsome young drifter (Tyrone Power) and his wife (the inimitable Marlene Dietrich, who steals the whole show).
