Barrie naturally becomes unraveled when her Navy pilot husband, Milland, is transfered to Pearl Harbor on the day of their wedding. She follows and gets an unexpected surprise in the form of an old boy friend, Taylor, who makes his way around the Pacific in his spiffy yacht. When her husband pays more attention to his maneuvers than he does to her, she goes sailing with Taylor.
