Sian Anderson (Meg Foster) is a writer of trashy novels who decides to take a break and rents a villa on a remote Greek island for the winter. The eccentric Englishman renting her the place is Elias Appleby (Robert Morley), who warns her about the fierce winds that blow at night, sometimes with fatal results.
