My Wife's Family: Review

The third screen version of Fred Duprez's play proves once and for all there's no hope of reviving the dead. Ray is the newlywed with the overbearing mother-in-law who ends up being accused of fathering an illegitimate child when he tries to surprise his wife with a baby grand piano. The arrival of Ray's old sweetheart, blonde glamor girl Gynt, further complicates matters. The farce is overplayed without shame, but that doesn't help the ancient jokes any. leave a comment
