Who'Ll Stop The Rain?: Review

This effective film adaptation of Robert Stone's excellent novel Dog Soldiers follows a bitter photojournalist (Michael Moriarty) as he arranges to smuggle a large shipment of heroin from Vietnam into the US with the help of his wife (Tuesday Weld) and a fellow Vietnam vet (Nick Nolte). Unfortunately for everyone involved, a corrupt federal agent (Anthony Zerbe) who's gotten wind of the shipment has sent two of his men (Richard Masur, Ray Sharkey) to kill the couriers and confiscate the heroin for his own purposes.
