Johann Schmidt (Raymond Lovell) manages to free a Dutch diamond cutter from a Nazi prison camp, intending to use the man for some nefarious doings. Schmidt has killed the Dutchman's ex-partner for his collection of uncut diamonds and now threatens to frame the gem cutter's daughter (Kay Bannerman) for murder unless he cuts them. Oxley (Robert Wyndham) is a detective investigating the crime, and thanks to his persistence, Schmidt's plans are foiled. Some good moments, backed by a nice directorial feel for the material.
