The White Trap: Review

Patterson is a jailed war hero whose wife, Young, is about to give birth to their first child. He breaks out of his cell, then with the help of a war buddy reaches his wife despite the police lines and newsmen who surround the hospital. Patterson manages to get to Young's hospital ward, but though a healthy baby boy is delivered, Young dies in childbirth. The suspense builds up towards the end, but the plot is unrelentingly downbeat. leave a comment
