Astor, down on her luck, meets multimillionaire Holt, who plucks her from poverty. Meeting and marrying her in a single day, he-man Holt lavishes jewels and furs on the attractive Astor in a seemingly unending flow. Taking time off from attendance to his bride, the business baron retreats to his mines to get more ready cash with which to regale his wife.
