White Line Fever

Returning from a stint in the Air Force, Vincent borrows money to buy a truck, hoping to make enough money hauling produce to marry Lenz and set up housekeeping. Vincent gets a load from Pickens, but then discovers that the long-haul business is run by racketeers and that smuggling is a routine part of the industry. Refusing to participate in such illicit activities, Vincent is beaten by Pickens' thugs. Recovered from the attack, he retaliates by getting a load from Pickens while holding him at gunpoint.
