This behind-the-scenes look at the goings-on in a hospital is not solely limited to matters dealing with medicine, though enough medical business is injected into the script to add a sense of realism. Donald has developed a serum to combat an infectious disease, and he gets the chance to test the serum when he is infected with the disease while treating a young lad destined to die. Luckily, it proves to be an effective medicine. Though the emphasis is on heavy sentiment, the direction capably interweaves the various dramas to create a fairly interesting outing.
