Whistling Hills: Review

Nothing distracts from the usual formula here. Brown plays a cowpoke who is pretty handy with a gun, and who offers his assistance to a stage line owner in order to run down a gang of masked highwaymen. Ellison plays the sheriff who must swallow his pride in receiving help from the guns of Brown. By this time Brown's career was on a downswing, his physical attributes no longer those of an oater hero, and audiences were making more demands in terms of western entertainment. leave a comment
