Whispering Ghosts: Review

Listless spoof in which Berle plays a radio entertainer who solves crimes for his listeners. He investigates the murder of a sea captain which occurred aboard a vessel 10 years before, visiting the ship to try to find some clues and discovering that it appears to be haunted. This premise was not unlike the one used in the Red Skelton vehicle, WHISTLING IN THE DARK, but lacks the same ingenuity in terms of plot development, wasting Berle's talent. leave a comment
