Tom DiCillo's documentary When You’re Strange is a fascinating, if occasionally mind-numbing, account of the history of the rock band the Doors, and their place in the pop-culture firmament of the 1960s -- or, more correctly, the 1960s as seen from the perspective of the 21st century.
