It's the nice-girl-pushed-about-makes-good story all over again; in this case Bruce is a small-town Pennsylvania girl with visions of becoming a star. Her career at college is less than admirable as she is coolly pushed to the side. But when Taylor molds the girl into a successful Broadway performer, she returns to make her former tormenters eat their hearts out.
