What Waits Below

After fleeing enemy soldiers in Nicaragua, mercenary Wolfson (Robert Powell) hooks up with American army officer Maj. Stevens (Timothy Bottoms) for a new assignment. Wolfson is soon working with Stevens on a radio device contacting submarines, but new troubles quickly develop. When anthropologists located near the army base open up some previously sealed caves, they inadvertently expose a hidden culture of underground dwellers who have been undisturbed for hundreds of years.
