The Wharf Angel: Review

Bland story in which streetwalker Dell falls for fugitive Foster, deciding to reform in the name of love. An interesting subtheme never fully developed is the friendship that evolves between Foster and McLaglen, the latter as the captain of a tramp steamer who hides Foster and who also has desires for Dell. All of this is worked out in the end, which never seems to come. leave a comment
