Wayne, as in many of his early westerns, plays a man set on revenge against the crooks responsible for the murder of his parents. While Wayne was still a budding youth, the hoods took the hero's brother, McGlynn, captive, integrating him into the gang. Wayne heads a vigilante group known as "The Singing Riders," and as such must be shown warbling a tune, a ridiculous sight as the Duke lip syncs to a voice obviously not his own. leave a comment
