An unusually sexual western for its time which has Sleeper masquerading in boy's clothes while traveling through post-Civil War Texas. Dix thinks her a man until one day he has to rescue her from the Pecos River. Her clinging wet apparel is a dead giveaway for Dix, who agrees to keep her
