Then There Were Three

Dull WW II drama which sees six GIs who have become separated from their outfits in Italy join together to find their way to safety. Along the way they pick up Nicol (also the producer/director), who, unbeknownst to them, is actually a Nazi spy with orders to kill a prominent underground leader. The soldiers are picked off one by one as a result of Nicol's evildoing, and eventually only four reach the resistance fighters. Nicol captures the leader of the partisans, but he is foiled by the three remaining GIs and forced to run toward the German troops, who mistake him for an American and gun him down.
