An unfunny comedy set, of all places, in Hiroshima in 1945. Foley is cast as a crusading Quaker morale officer who is determined to get his black friends better treatment. He tries to get a black singing combo billeted in the officers' club but, having no luck, grows increasingly upset with the prejudice displayed by his fellow soldiers.
