A comical adaptation of Jules Verne's first novel, a story about a team of 19th-century Britons crossing Africa in a balloon. The group wants to plant the Union Jack on unclaimed land in West Africa. Hardwicke leads the expedition--with reporter Buttons, scientist Haydn, and assistant Fabian on board. The men rescue Eden from a drunken sultan and give lovable slave-trader Lorre a ride too.
