Weekend With The Babysitter

This melodrama is so far-fetched it's hard to believe it's not the product of a bizarre acid trip. Carey is a director-screenwriter in Hollywood whose wife, Roberts, and child are on the way to a weekend with her mother. Due to a mixup, Romen, their baby-sitter, arrives and Carey invites her to stay. He lets her read his new youth-oriented script. She thinks it is full of bunk, and offers to take him to a party to see how the kids really live. Marijuana and sex follow, but in the meantime, Carey learns that Roberts, a secret heroin addict, is tangled up in a scheme to smuggle drugs into the US from Mexico.
